The Comedy of Errors Poster

Poster design that was selected by the Northern Arizona University Theatre Department to be used for their 2015 rendition of Shakespeare's "The Comedy of Errors". For this design I wanted to capture the playful and lighthearted theme of the famous farce. The story is set in a seaside town and the director mentioned that in the story the twin sibling protagonists attack one another by throwing fish. This was an important comedic element of the play that I wanted to display to the viewer. I paired the illustration with a typography layout that would serve to be equally lighthearted and casual to reflect the overall tone.
